Make also sure not to miss a visit of the nearby Dolomites - even more so if you love steep rocks and look out for new challenges climbing on vie ferrate or alpine routes.
Bike enthousiasts will find their Mecca here, for Val Pusteria and Valle Aurina offer pleasure bike trails in the valley floor as well as legendary MTB trails as e.g. in the Plan de Corones Bike Park.
